As the Education Programs Coordinator, Morgan supports ShoreRivers’ efforts to achieve healthy waterways across Maryland’s Eastern Shore, provides classroom instruction, conducts student field experiences, and leads teacher professional development workshops for multiple school districts. 

Morgan grew up on the Gulf Coast of Florida in St. Petersburg, where she first developed a passion for water quality. She served as the ShoreRivers’ 2022-2023 Chesapeake Conservation Corps member before joining the Education Department.

She has a B.S. in Environmental Science and Molecular and Cellular Biology from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. Her previous research focused on phytoplankton genetics in the Chesapeake Bay.
