ShoreRivers Pumpout Boat: Miles and Wye Rivers

The ShoreRivers pumpout boat is a FREE SERVICE offered on the Miles and Wye rivers operating from approximately mid-May to early November.

With your help, this boat will help prevent more than 20,000 gallons of concentrated marine waste from entering our waters annually.

PUMPOUT BOAT HOURS*

May to November 3

Fridays 5-7pm
Saturdays 9am - 4pm
Sundays 9am - 4pm
Memorial Day 9am - 4pm
Independence Day Holiday (July 4 and 5) 9am - 4pm
Labor Day 9am - 4pm
*Hours may be adjusted to account for weather and other conditions

END OF SEASON NOTE: Please contact Capt. Jim to schedule your final pump-out before winterizing your boat.

Route

The route of the boat is subject to change, but will include popular anchorages on the Miles and Wye Rivers, including: Saint Michaels Harbor, Long Haul Creek, the Miles River Yacht Club area, Long Point, Leeds Creek, Hunting Creek, Hambleton Cove, Tilghman Creek, Shaw Bay, Dividing Creek, Granary Creek, Wye Landing, Skipton Creek, Drum Point, and Lloyd Creed, to name a few.

The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum donates free dockage, storage, and use of their land-based pumpout station to offload the waste from the pumpout boat which is transferred to the updated St. Michaels Wastewater Treatment Plant.
