Events Assistance

Our event volunteers work closely with the Development Department to help coordinate and support our annual fundraising events, including the Solstice Celebration and Rendezvous. 

Volunteers sit on an events committee and assist with the event through: 

• Identifying Sponsors: Acquiring individual and corporate sponsors is critical for our events’ fundraising success, proceeds from which ultimately help fund our clean water programs.

• Procuring Auction Items: A few of our events raise money through live and silent auctions. Identifying and reaching out to people and organizations with desirable items or experiences is key.

• Assisting with Planning: Added expertise in event logistics, themes, promotion, etc., will ensure events reach their full potential.

• Day of Assistance: Joining us for set up, greeting participants, recording transactions, clean up, etc., is an excellent, short-term commitment. Many of our events are on the weekends when staff members have limited availability.
