Every January to April, our Riverkeepers are busy in Annapolis writing bills, testifying, and meeting with state representatives on legislative issues impacting the Eastern Shore's waterways. If you are interested in getting involved with our advocacy efforts, ShoreRivers invites you to our second advocacy volunteer training on Thursday, February 6, at 7pm (held virtually via Zoom). This training will provide updates from our first session in December, as well as new information. Anyone, even if they did not attend the first training, is welcome to register.

During these trainings, your Riverkeepers will present on the basics of the Maryland General Assembly, discuss ShoreRivers' priority legislation for the year, and share ways that you can get involved.
