Every January to April, our Riverkeepers are busy in Annapolis writing bills, testifying, and meeting with state representatives on legislative issues impacting the Eastern Shore's waterways. If you are interested in getting involved with our advocacy efforts, ShoreRivers invites you to our second annual advocacy volunteer training on Wednesday, December 18, at 7pm (held virtually via Zoom). This will be the first of two trainings, with the second scheduled for Thursday, February 6, at 7pm.

During these trainings, your Riverkeepers will present on the basics of the Maryland General Assembly, discuss ShoreRivers' priority legislation for the year, and share ways that you can get involved.
