Join Choptank Riverkeeper Matt Pluta and ESSUP (Eastern Shore SUP) for an evening moonrise paddle on the Choptank River. Kayakers and paddle boarders will enjoy the stunning sunset as they paddle on Broad Creek and watch the moonrise from Hambleton Island!
This event is open for paddlers ages 18 and up. Paddlers are asked to arrive at 5pm and will launch from St. Michaels Waterfront Park at 305 West Chew Ave by 5:30.
When registering, please indicate if you’ll need a kayak (option 1), want to rent a paddle board (option 2), or are bringing your own paddle craft (option 3).
All paddlers need to bring, at a minimum, flashlights with them for the paddle. Glow sticks and other lights are also encouraged to increase visibility and awareness while on the water at night.
