Join Choptank Riverkeeper Matt Pluta for an evening paddle out of Kingston Landing, and enjoy sunset views with the hopes of catching the great spectacle of tree swallows plunging into the marsh grasses for the night as they roost. Tree swallows stage for migration in the fall in huge colonies, and their roosting habits are stunning.
This event is open for 16 paddlers, ages 10 and up. Paddlers can bring their own kayak or use gear provided by ShoreRivers (ShoreRivers kayaks and gear are available for up to 10 people).
Space is limited, so register now before this paddle fills!
