A River-Friendly Yard mimics the natural environment to benefit water quality: less lawn, more deeply rooted native plants. Regardless of where you live, every drop of water from your property is carried to our rivers. Remember: no one can do EVERYTHING to improve the health of our rivers, but EVERYONE can do something!
